As the clouds lour and rain bounces off my sun baked lawn it seems timely to remind people of Bethany Beaches’ unique annual celebration to mark the end of summer. Every year this ‘quiet resort’ community hold a Jazz Funeral to mark the end of summer and ‘help the local residents ease back to the slower pace of off-season living’.
