Wise, if spelling was a requierment to be moral, ethical and above par, then I guess more than half of the most respected fighting force on earth are scoundrals and cant cut it. I would love to see you tell them that.
Unfortunatly it is your interpretation that those individuals who choose to critisize this bumbling, bafoon like inept organization you call a respectfull and reputable funeral service provider, are losers. I beg to differ. I just sat with a family last week that considered migrating from the location they took their uncle to. $8,100 was the charges for a service with cremation. No hearse, no viewing, BUT they were told that in order to have the BODY in a closed cremation casket in the chapel at the same time as mourners, the body MUST be embalmed, they also were coned into a “Cheese room” some room that use to be a visitation room at the location I DID work at, 3 tables and fruit, crackers and cheese. All this for over $1,500 exrtra.
Well “Wise”, I have no regrets leaving this location, I had a wonderfull military career and a great funeral career, I opened my own funeral home “From the ground up” I might add and am celebrating my one year aniversary tomorow. The same service that “Dignity ” provided to to this family would have cost $2,650 at my location, the family was threatened with legal action if they tried to leave because they “Signed a contract”. Thats ok, This is not the first and wont be the last of families that have turned to me after they recieved the shock of pricing a simple service and cremation. Oh, my direct cremation? $585.
For the record, saturday I had a service that ended up at a Dignity cemetery, when I arrived there were 2 other services going on and the grounds crew sat and watched as me and my staff parked cars and pretty much did their job. At the end of the service the anoyed and angry counselor came out telling me that he would prefer “Next Time” that I call him when we arive so he could come out, he is a very buisy man. We arived at the schedualed time. NEXT TIME? I said , would you like me to wake you for breakfas as well, lets face it, Dignity is peppered with abunch of underpaid uneducated arogant individuals that are all stepping all over each other to get to the top, using families and their pocket book to get there. The only thing WE WERE TOLD when I worked for DIGNITY was it all about the stupid Carbon Oxly or whatever it was, and I quote “EVERYTHING ELSE IS SECOND, INCLUDING FAMILIES” Thats not for me, We may be small and humble, But if being humble and dignified means I have to be sma,, I will be small. Open your own place, be the the “Man” istead of working for the man. Define your name, be “wise”.
