Today I was chatting with C., and she mentioned her brother J. had received a call from the funeral home who handled Luella last July. This funeral home happens to be part of the corporation I represent.
A Family Services Advisor (FSA) had called to say, “We notice that today was your mother’s birthday… Have you thought about pre-arranging your own funeral services?” OK, it probably wasn’t as abrupt as that, but that is how J. “heard” it, and he was, predictably, furious.
