Open discussions about death are often shunned. Perhaps this is because people are fearful that by talking about it they might bring it upon themselves prematurely or maybe it’s because we just don’t want to think it’ll happen. Like Steve Jobs shared with Stanford grads, “No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet, death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it.”
