Historic West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia is home to the final resting place of some of the city’s most successful citizens of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Through their extravagant mausoleums, gravestones, sculptures and spires, the city’s long-dead 1% made sure that generations of Philadelphians would know who made it big.
