Having buried both parents and in-laws, Steiner knows the dreariness and expense of picking out coffins. This way, his three daughters won’t have to make that most unpleasant of purchases. Steiner guesses his handiwork saved $8,000. Not only that, but he’s plastered the side of his casket with photographs, saving family the chore of rounding them up for the funeral.
