Couples plan for weddings. Teens and their families arrange elaborate quinceañeras or sweet sixteens. Few, however, prepare for their funerals, especially those who wish to return to their native land in death.
That’s when Guillermina Reyes steps in. The 46-year-old with a high-pitched voice and a blinding-white smile has become the go-to person when a loved one dies in the local Mexican immigrant community.
