Higher costs are forcing more people to spend less on services.
People are cutting costs even after death.
They’re purchasing less expensive caskets and urns; cutting back on services; choosing cremations more often so they do not have to bear the burden of cemetery costs; and having fewer flower memorials, Butler County funeral directors said.
