Funeral Rule requires funeral directors to disclose itemized prices
Dear Action Line: Is there not some federal law that funeral homes must have “itemized price information” for everything in a “funeral package” so us dearly beloved can buy only the funeral goods and services we want? I’m in the middle of funeral planning after a death in the family. The director is vague about casket prices. – R.I.P., Tulsa
