I found a cremation service near Raleigh, NC that handles everything; included in the cost where a few certified death certificates, sales tax and a beautiful wooden urn. The total cost was under $1200, which is about $300 less than everyone else in the area. When I asked them how they can do that, the man replied, “City of Oaks Cremation is going to change the industry”. I’m telling you the urn was like $150 compared to everyone else selling one at $300. I know we got fair deal because we called so many funeral homes and checked for the best price.
