Family Cemetery in Craven County. Family member donated the property for a family cemetery. Many family members are buried there. Last year a very young man died in a fire and was buried there, he was a family member. Last week the childs father mowed and cleaned the cemetery and when he arived home, his wife (the childs mother) was dead. When the funeral home went to the house that grants the right of way to the cemetery, went to the door to inform them they would be digging the grave, were told by the daughter of the donor that they could not bury her there. Her father (the original land donor) is passed on and she said that the land was now hers and that lady would not be allowed to be buried there. He would like to bury his wife beside their son… Do they have a leg to stand on legally?
