As a licensed funeral director, cemetery

As a licensed funeral director, cemetery manager, and embalmer for over 50 years, I would like to add my two cents to this site. When a person dies, the remaining family should do what the deceased had wanted, provided the deceased conveyed his/her wishes. If not, do what the family has traditionally done with the deceased persons of their family. If a person is placed in a metal, sealed casket, then the fluids from the body will eventually rust out the bottom, and will drain into the earth–the same result as burial in a non-metal non-sealed casket. So, you are eventually going to return to the earth, either sooner or later.
