I’m really SHOCKED by what I’m reading here! Of course death is disturbing. Just preserving a body for a few years with embalming doesn’t change anything. PEOPLE DIE! They’ve been dying since they were first created. Life here is temporary. It is supposed to be feared. So we can look forward to eternal life. Christ died to take away the fear of death. As for bodily fluids, etc., — are you people so ignorant you didn’t understand that happens? And the funeral industry wants all the money they can get out of it. It is natural to die, and be buried. People have been doing it for thousands of years. And it is NOT required that a body be embalmed. You can be buried without your body being desecrated by embalming. Read the book, “Final Rights” by Joshua Slocum and Lisa Carlson. All the regulations and details are in this book. God bless all of you here who struggling so.
