My mother was done the same way by Homes

My mother was done the same way by Homesteaders Life Company. She made prearrangements for her funeral when my dad died not really knowing that it was going to end up being twice as much. She has paid into it for 7 yrs now and has already paid $3000 more than what it was suppose to cost and has 3 more yrs to go. She is on a very tight budget with living off of a very small social security check so needless to say she could use the money she pays out every month to them but she said they told her if she stops she will lose $3000. This is such a scam to me and is no way to do business, it seems to be taking advantage of an elderly person at the time of mourning the death of her spouse.
