I signed up for the Neptune pre plan with travel in May of 2014. I was told there was a special going on and total cost would be $2,100 all said and done. Payments would be $50.00 a month after a $299.00 down payment. When my bank changed names and I got a new bank card I let Neptune know so the payments will keep coming out, but when I asked the lady when is my last payment and I added everything up it turns out I will be paying over $2,500, not the $2,100 I was told! After talking to the manager I found out that I was being charged a 10.5% interest, I would of NEVER signed up if I would of known this, when I told him I was never told about the interest he said they don’t have to tell anyone then I said I wanted to cancel and to send my $700.00 back that I have invested so far, he laughed and said I’d be lucky if I got $50.00 back because I don’t have any money in the trust….WHAT?? I thought ALL of my money went into a trust fund for me….SO, have I lost my $700.00??
