WOW! I’m learning and have learned a lot. Just did a HOME FUNERAL not a believer in putting money in the ground. WHY? The cost for the entire funeral was the cost of the casket and gas to the cemetery. A total of $400.00 rounded off. It may have cost another $1000 to $2000 because it was a veteran and the VA pays for the opening/closing cost. Still it would have been waay cheaper than paying $5000 and beyond
