In Fla. where there is a Cemetery that is not owned but run by a trust, with a board of trustees. My question is, Is it a conflict of interest for members of the Board to be Funeral Directors, Monument company owners and others involved in the funeral business? There have also been situations where plots have been sold multiple times,and monies gone…by past Admin. But the Board turned the other way because the past Admin. was a friend. And I believe that the funeral homes should not be allowed to become rich off of the death of people. There should be regulations put in place for ALL Cemeteries and Funeral Homes from this type of fraud against people.
