Biased???? Please don’t insult the general public with comparing that this is a fair and open market in pricing. I have had the unfortunate task of dealing with 3 funerals in less than 9 months, and to be honest this last one , with whom we have just used their services in April 2015, well I could honestly say I had my pockets picked clean, still with a smile on their face and all the while telling me they were there for my protection. Protection of what? They were robbing me blind, inflated costs for services that were already paid for in advance. No this is the lowest form of extorsion, taking advantage of a family at their vulnerable time. What choice do you have? What do you just pick up the body and go shop around? Don’t patronize us. It’s not the same as shopping for a car, you trust and rely that these vultures have an ounce of humility still left. It all comes to the might dollar, and I sincerely see no difference in some of the illegal practices by these charlatans then someone putting a gun to me at my ATM and demanding all my money, in fact I would have more respect for the later, at least you know what’s happening to you, these mortuary sales or counselors or whatever they may call themselves are nothing but heartless thieves. I’m disgusted that a pre payed arrangement that was made and mislead to believe was paid in full for all services, is now become a financial hardship for me. Buyer certainly be ware and don’t believe these liars, don’t agree and don’t sign anything until a lawyer can review it for you.
