Missing jewelry---what to do?

Sadly, sometimes families do tell us of lost or possibly stolen jewelry or personal effects. There is little to nothing that can be done after the fact. FCA believes a simple inventory protocol, in writing, with pictures and cross-checks, should be a basic standard at all funeral homes and crematories. Read more

New Hampshire set to overturn embalming law

New Hampshire has a unique law that no other state has. It says: “Deceased Human Bodies Exposed. – No dead human body shall be exposed to the public for a period in excess of 24 hours unless said body is properly embalmed.” House Bill 1320 would delete this unnecessary requirement. Read more
